Devin Harris, “Boardwalk Empire” Actor, Dies at 41

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Devin Harris, an actor known for the series “Boardwalk Empire,” “Manifest,” and “Gotham,” has passed away at the age of 41. The actor’s official website confirms his death on May 27. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the actor had been battling cancer.

Harris was born in Texas and, after studying acting in college, moved to New York and appeared in student films. While also pursuing martial arts, he became most known for his role as “Jack Dempsey” in HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire.” He also had acting credits in “Daredevil,” “Orange is the New Black,” and the film “Rebel In the Rye” starring Nicholas Hoult.
